The qualifier round of BPL, the country’s domestic franchise T20 tournament, has started today. The curtain will come down on the 10th BPL with the final on March 1. But before that, Bangladesh national cricket team started busy. So the Tigers are not getting a chance to rest after the BPL.

Sri Lanka will play the series on March 4. As a result, the cricketers of the national team do not have time to catch their breath. National team camp started today Monday (February 26) ahead of the Sri Lanka series. However, due to the BPL qualifier round, not everyone in the squad got a chance to join the camp. Those whose teams were eliminated before the qualifier round, joined the camp. Meanwhile, although the Test squad has not been announced, the regular Test faces have joined the camp.
The players who joined the camp are – Nazmul Hossain Shanto, captain of three formats of the national team, former captain Muminul Haque, Mahmudul Hasan Joy, Zakir Hasan, Taskin Ahmed, Naeem Hasan, Shariful Islam, Naeem Sheikh, Sadman Islam. Also, Abdullah Al Mamun and pacer Shafiqul Islam have been called up and joined the camp in NCL and BCL. This camp is being held in Dhaka.
Even if there is a camp in Dhaka, none of the matches of the series will be held in Dhaka. Bangladesh-Sri Lanka series will start with T20 on March 4. All the matches of the three-match T20 series will be played at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium.
After the T20 series, both the teams will travel to Chittagong. There will be a three-match ODI series. After that, the first of the two Tests will be in Sylhet and the second in Chittagong.
The Sri Lankan team will enter Bangladesh on March 1 to play the series.
