In a post on Monday (February 26), Mahia Mahi wrote, ‘Just be a place of trust, just be a man like a man, take care boy.’
Earlier on Friday (February 16) at midnight, actress Mahia Mahi announced her separation from husband Rakib Sarkar. In a video of more than eight minutes, he said that they have been separated for some time. Complete the divorce formalities very soon.
About a week after that announcement, Mahi wrote about her loneliness on her Facebook. On Wednesday (February 21) at 3 pm, the actress wrote in her Facebook caption — ‘Eka Eka Lage.’
In the break-up video, Mahi said, ‘Me and Rakib actually decided to get married because of a very good understanding and we were very good. At some point in life, it seems that we are ‘no’ for each other. He is a very good man. A very generous man. A very caring person. All the days I have spent so far. He took good care of me, took good care of me, respected my whole family. He stands by for any need. He always held me like an umbrella.’
She married Rakib Sarkar of Gazipur on 13 September 2021. This is the second marriage of both of them. They also have a one-year-old son named Farish.
In that video message, the actress said about her son Farish, ‘Many of you make bad comments about my son, seeing them, my heart breaks as a mother. Don’t make such mean comments about any child, no matter what they look like.’
Before this, Mahi married Sylhet businessman Parvez Mahmud Apu in 2016. After 5 years of marriage, on May 22, 2021, he announced the end of marriage. Before that, however, the matter of getting involved with Rakib came into discussion.
